Archive: The Depth of the Ocean (February 2007)
The Depth of the Ocean will be performed one more time, at 7:30 PM on Sunday, February 18, in the pool of the River Valley Athletic Club at 1826 Northwestern Avenue in Stillwater. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students over 12.
(The additional show was scheduled because a performer's illness caused one of the shows on February 11 to be cancelled.)
This will be a good opportunity to see an unusual and dramatic story...
About The Depth of the Ocean
Presented by Theatre Associates of Stillwater and Perpetual Motion Theatre Company, this unique show tells the story of five maritime disaster survivors who cling to a life raft that not only floats in the middle of the ocean, but in the midst of time. The characters, varying from an Edwardian feminist to an Indian Ocean Tsunami survivor, are trapped at sea where their fears and paranoia play out as time and their own memories shift around them. - Photo by Avye Alexandres.
The Depth of the Ocean was the second highest attended show at the 2006 Minnesota Fringe Festival. Perpetual Motion develops and performs movement-based, ensemble-created works that defy convention and reassert the vitality of live theatre. More information at: Perpetual Motion Theatre Company.

Directions
River Valley Athletic Club is located at 1826 Northwestern Avenue in Stillwater.
From U.S. Highway 36 going into Stillwater and Oak Park Heights, exit north on either Washington Avenue or Greeley and immediately take the service road (60th Street N.) - turn east on from Washington or west from Greeley. Go one block to Northwestern Avenue and turn north. The athletic club is just over a block, on the left-hand side beneath the water tower between Tower Drive and Curve Crest Boulevard.
