Archive: "The Dining Room"

Seven people sitting around a table, smiling and holding champagne glasses proposing a toast.The play is a dramatic comedy set in the dining room of an elegant home of the early 1900s, and deals with the declining importance of a typical dining room over the years from the 1930s to the 1950s. The stories are portrayed in a mosaic of interrelated scenes with members of different families that own the home over the years.

Freight House Nightclub, 305 Water Street S., Stillwater, MN 55082, Map of this location. The performance space can be entered through the Freight House Restaurant, which is accessible to patrons with mobility limitations via a ramp at the south end.  For dinner reservations, please call the Freight House at 651-439-5718, and allow enough dining time to be at the play by 7:15 PM.

Tickets

$15 for adults, and $10 for students. Please make advance reservations at 651-439-0993 and pay for tickets in advance to assure seating and avoid delays of the performances. Tickets will also be available at River Market Coop and the Daily Grind on Main Street in Stillwater, and at the Marine General Store in Marine on Saint Croix. Tickets can be paid for in advance for pick up at Will Call.

Wheelchair accessible symbol.Tickets reserved but not paid in advance must be picked up at To Be Paid before 7:00 PM. Checks for tickets should be made out to "Bridge Theatre".  Charges cannot be accepted. All three of the ticket sales locations are open during usual business hours, but tickets will be picked up at 5:00 PM on show days.  The box office at the show will open at 6:30 PM.
